SkyMalls Most Bizarre Products Part 1 @ Hardware Secrets
Published: Sunday, June 6, 2010 | By: WillI will admit that this is my first time hearing about SkyMalls. To be honest these are some pretty useless items, but it is worth a look just for the laughs.
"If you travel by plane you know it. If you don't, you don't know what you are losing. It you make you laugh or your money back guaranteed. I am not talking about any theme park. I am talking about SkyMall, the magazine available inside airplanes that sells the most bizarre junk ever invented. For the past few years I've been collecting the most unbelievable products sold by this magazine, and I finally decided to post my collection of "The best of SkyMall" (or it would be "The worst of SkyMall?" - you decide!). Since by now I have a huge collection, I decided to break it down in several posts. Enjoy!"
As they say "Enjoy!"

GIGABYTE P55A-UD7 (P55 Express) Motherboard @ TweakTown
Published: Saturday, June 5, 2010 | By: WillGigabyte is really pushing to win the enthusiast hearts anymore with some incredible motherboards. The list of features and the overclocking abilities of these new boards is just awesome. So time to check out another board destine for awesomeness.
"GIGABYTE has put quite a bit of work into its UD7 series of motherboards (and there is a UD9 on the way, too). These boards are their upper-end (the cream of the crop) for their enthusiast offerings. They come with a 24 phase power design, USB 3.0, powered USB, SATA 3.0 and Tri-SLI/Crossfire.
GIGABYTE also provides an advanced cooling system for this line of boards. To be honest, the list of features is impressive when looked at on paper. But how does all this work when you drop one of these into a case and turn the power on? That is what we aim to find out."There is no extra charge for awesomeness.

NL: GPU Roundup

Starcraft II Preview @ Technic3D
"Continue the epic saga of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races will clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the original, StarCraft. Legions of veteran, upgraded, and new unit types will do battle across the galaxy, as each faction struggles for survival. In addition, Blizzard offers online play through Battle.net with several enhancements and features to make StarCraft II even better? See you this and more in the following Preview from Technic3D."
Black Mirror II (PC) Game review @ Gaming Kitguru
"Black Mirror was a weird game, no doubt about it. The Czech adventure was a traditional point and click affair, but the experience was so bizarre it really is hard to put into words. We were surprised to notice that a German developer called Cranberry had taken upon themselves to create a sequel."

MSI Big Bang XPower Motherboard @ Hardware Secrets
Published: Thursday, June 3, 2010 | By: WillJudging by the pics of this new motherboard from MSI I would say they have a winner on there hands. Then again you cannot always judge a book by it's cover or a motherboad by it sexy looks. So I guess we have to read the review to see the naked truth.
"MSI Big Bang XPower is an Intel X58-based socket 1136 motherboard that comes with six PCI Express x16 slots, SATA-600 ports, USB 3.0 ports, military-grade components on the voltage regulator circuit, gazillions of overclocking options and much more. Also it is one of the few motherboards around using an easy-to-remember name instead of a part number formed with several letters and numbers. We honestly hope that MSI and other manufacturers do this more often."
Wow! I think I have something on my mind during this news post.

eVGA mainboard team defects to Sapphire? Inside Scoop @ KITGURU
Published: Thursday, June 3, 2010 | By: WillAs everyone knows Ninjalane is never into the rumormill game at all, but this is interesting enough to check out. From the Computex front our man Redmax is at groundzero and has talked to EVGA, and everything seemed like business as usual.
"Right now, the most hotly anticipated mainboard in a long time is the EVGA SR2. Brainchild of PCB wizard Peter ‘Shamino' Tan, it represents the cutting edge of design. While Peter Tan remains firmly at EVGA, KitGuru has heard that the mainboard design team itself has moved to Sapphire. But is it true and what does it mean for the industry?"
I guess time will tell the truth on this one.

Last "Real" Day of Computex
Published: Thursday, June 3, 2010 | By: DennisComputex generally runs from Tuesday thru Saturday each year which seems to work out pretty well for everyone. The Monday before is typically reserved for pre-show activities while Saturday is the patented "free for all" day when the show floor opens to the public.
I have only gone to the Saturday show once over my tenure and saying the show floor is a madhouse is putthing things lightly.
As a result Friday is what I would call the last "real" day of Computex.
On a side note, finding Pepsi this time around is considerably easier than last, heck my friends at Foxconn even bought a pallet of small Pepsi cans just for me.

Now only if the rest of the mfgs would do the same I'd be set for life.
