After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Soltek Stuff

    Soltek Stuff
The Soltek booth was pretty exciting and if what they have on display is any indication as to what they have planned for the future it will be pretty exciting indeed.
Dual channel DDR is in the house and here are three fine samples to prove it. Above and to the left we have the Intel E7205 Dual Channel DDR266 board for the Pentium 4. Next to it we have the VIA P4X600 Dual Channel DDR333 board also for the Pentium 4. Then lastly to the right we have the much anticipated nVidia nForce2 enabled motherboard for the AMD.
I think in the coming months we will start to see quite a few of these motherboards popping up. If you can't tell by the CPU socket this is a motherboad for the K8 "Hammer" from AMD. Not sure what is up with the gold color, I will have to find out tomorrow.
Soltek also had a variety of older products on display including this one, a Sl-KT400-R, with the R being onboard RAID. Finally someone over there heard my crys for more onboard RAID.
