After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Introduction

Here at NinjaLane we are looking at another awesome product from QNAP, the TS-209 Pro II Turbo NAS.

The TS-209 Pro II Turbo NAS is a mainstream product geared toward the home user or someone who runs a small business network. The NAS is realtivly small and only supports 2  SATA hard drives.  2 drives will limit your RAID options since a 3rd drive is required for an sort of parity but still for most small business to home users this is not a problem.
