Export Restrictions Eased for High-Speed Computers

An export restriction of high-speed computers established in 1979 has been lifted allowing computer companies to ship computer systems to "Teir-3" countries. Export restrictions were established during the cold war in hopes to slow the spread of nuclear weapons. The idea being that by limiting access to computers powerful enough to design them nuclear threats would be limited.
