ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z Review @ ocaholic

We recently reviewed the P67 edition of the Maximus IV Extreme and found it to be an excellent motherboard with plenty of flexibility.  The Z68 is basically the same board but supports the new disk cache feature.

The Maximus IV Extreme-Z is ASUS' latest flagship regarding their socket 1155 line-up. With its ROG brand the taiwanese mainboard giant targets gamers as well as overclockers. Very impressive is for example the number of USB 3.0 ports this board comes with. There is a total of eight of these ports.  

Picking either one of these boards will get you the same basic performance regardless of what processor and video cards you choose to run.
