Corsair Frame 4500X RS-R ARGB @ TechPowerUp

The Corsair Frame 4500X RS-R ARGB is a striking fishtank-style mid-tower case that emphasizes aesthetic presentation with a seamless wraparound glass panel spanning the side and front. Its design is complemented with sweeping vent flow transitions on the steel frame, echoing Corsair’s signature “Y” pattern to maintain visual consistency across unsighted areas. Corsair has addressed previous structural concerns by reinforcing areas prone to flex, such as the PSU shroud, making for a sturdier build without sacrificing weight savings. Installation is made easier with its modular layout, ample cable management options, and inclusion of three RS120-R ARGB fans and a PWM/ARGB hub for integrated control.

The Corsair FRAME 4500X RS-R ARGB is not just another FRAME chassis. It is a completely new design with a singular glass panel wrapped around the side and front of the body. Sharing a lot of tooling with the FRAME 4000D, you get all those benefits, but also some of the shortcomings.

Thermally, the 4500X performs well with stock configuration, though adding bottom-mounted fans can reduce GPU temperatures by a few degrees under load. The case supports BTF motherboards, powerful GPUs, and a range of radiators, though bottom fan mounts are somewhat constrained. Downsides include limited dust filtration (the case relies primarily on mesh panels rather than dedicated filters), potential blockage of a front USB header by the included GPU support bracket, and the price premium associated with its unique features. Ultimately, the Frame 4500X RS-R ARGB offers strong character, great visuals, and solid functionality for users seeking a showcase build with comparatively fewer compromises at its price level.
