After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Conclusion

    Conclusion
The graphs show a very typical picture for a heatsink of this caliber, the Igloo 4310 is rated for Pentium 4 systems 3.0Ghz and below. In that range I feel this is an excellent alternative/replacement to the stock Intel cooler. Even though I wouldn't recommend it for the serious overclocker the timid weekend gamer and weekday worker will find the Igloo to be a perfect fit. System integrators will also like the easy to use metal clipping system though be warned it does not come with a motherboard mounting kit.

So to sum up here is my list of Good things and Bad things.
    The Good Things
    Very Quiet
    Better than stock cooling
    Easy to install
    Easy to upgrade
    The Bad Things
    No motherboard mounting kit
Would like to see a longer fan shroud
