After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

    Conclusion

All modern waterblocks on the market these days will perform about the same given similar situations and setups. However this is not to say that all waterblocks are built the same. Every company does things just a little different however PolarFLO embellished this a little while creating the TT line of waterblocks.
Installation wise, the CPU block installed without a hitch. However when we went to install the chipset cooler we discovered that the mounting plate would not properly clear the motherboard components without some extensive modifications.
PolarFLO has been marketing the TT line as having a future proof design, by this they mean that once you buy a TT block it will not easily become obsolete when you decide to upgrade. Likewise on the PolarFLO side they have the ability to change the inter-workings of the TT block without needing to redesign the entire system. This is good from the customer standpoint since PolarFLO can issue upgrades at a lower cost (provided the end user is comfortable with tearing the waterblocks apart.) while keeping prices down. In the end everybody wins. big grin smile
The PolarFLO TT waterblock really treated us well. The block looked great, both on and off the system, they was easy to install and configure.
Now for the ever popular list of Good things and Bad things. happy smile
    The Good Things
    Easy installation
    Great styling
    Solid alloy top
2 piece design no screws to hold the block together
    Posi-seal barbs
    The Bad Things
    Retention springs not included.
    2-barb configuration rather restrictive.
Chipset block mounting place would not clear motherboard parts.

I would like to thank PolarFLO for helping to make this review possible.
