After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Board Layout and Features Cont.

The onboard power supply and regulator is the standard 3 phase design using the new and much smaller power MOSFETS.
The ATX connector is also pretty standard and features 4 USB 2.0 ports, a single Firewire, Serial port and Gigabit LAN. Available audio ports only support 2 channel audio however the onboard pins will allow for a full 6 channels. S/PDIF and optical connections are provided for the digitally minded individual.
USB and Firewire are also expandable using the onboard pin headers for a total of 2 Firewire and 6 USB 2.0/1.1 ports.
Included goodies include 2 SATA data and power cables, the normal assortment of PATA and floppy ribbons, and ATX backplate. The available documentation includes a small yet informative users manual, driver CD and RAID software disk.
