After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Conclusion

    Conclusion
We first received the Soyo Dragon a good month ago but never got around to doing the review until now. I regret this since by the time this is published Soyo will have released the "upgraded" version of this board using the KT266A chipset.

All in all I'm happy with this board from Soyo and as for the rest of the performance related issues I attributed them to the 100FSB Athlon chip and Micron DDR memory that I was given to work with. I believe that if I had some better hardware (i.e. Processor & memory) the Dragon would have been quite wonderful to work with. You will also notice that I didn't take advantage of the "O" in the Dragon, this was not by choice but rather dictated to me by the available hardware. I'm hoping to revisit the Dragon in the near future and compare scores from new to old, they should prove very interesting. Though until then the Dragon here has left the building.
