After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Benchmarks - Overclocked

    Overclocking
Here is where things change up for the K8T800. The highest overclock I could muster from the system was 217Mhz FSB. This is no fault of the processor or memory but rather due to the lack of a locked PCI and AGP clock. I had mentioned before how the FSB settings were limited by the jumper block on the motherboard so this isn't really a showstopper. The only limiting factor is finding a retail Athlon64 3200+ that will run at 233Mhz FSB.

Memory clock remained at 1:1 so the resulting DDR speed is DDR434 at LL timings.

The numbers pretty much speak for themselves, only a minor gain in synthetic performance due to the higher clockspeed.
