Computex 2009 Day 2 – Taipei Taiwan

We have seen Qnap quite a few times at the various shows and each time they have something new on display. The interesting thing is that their core product is also the one that gets customized for different uses. 

The highlight of the booth is the new web interface that happens to be Ajax enabled for speed, ease of use, and is generally much prettier to look at.

Having a NAS that doubles as an application server, security center, and network appliance why not create a special purpose device to handle mulit media?  The NMP1000 does just that and features all of the high quality connections to handle HD video and seamlessly interfaces with any other Qnap devices that happen to be on the network.
