Silent Hill f Performance Benchmark @ TechPowerUp

Published: | Posted By:

TechPowerUp tested Silent Hill f across over 30 graphics cards to evaluate how well the game runs on a wide range of systems. The title is built in Unreal Engine 5 and demands significant GPU and VRAM resources, making it especially tough on cards with less than 8 GB of memory. With appropriate settings and the use of upscaling technologies, many modern cards can deliver playable frame rates, although 1 % low performance in complex scenes remains a challenge for midrange or handheld devices.

Silent Hill f brings new material for lovers of the survival horror genre. While the game uses Unreal Engine 5, it generally runs much better than recent titles like Borderlands 4. In our performance review, we examine its graphical fidelity, VRAM usage, and how well it runs on a variety of modern GPUs.

In their conclusions, they found that Silent Hill f is surprisingly well optimized for a new, ambitious game that capable of delivering strong visual fidelity and performance on desktop rigs, given the right hardware. Even though lower-end and low-VRAM GPUs struggle during intense sections or at higher resolutions, the game rewards higher-tier hardware with more consistent performance. For gamers with suitable PCs, it offers a balanced experience between graphics and playability, though those with limited hardware will need to tweak settings to smooth out frame drops.
