Kingpin Cooling Single GPU Competition with LN2 by Deanzo

One of the top guys in the extreme cooling arena is showing everyone how it is done. The GPU on the other hand looks to be the victim in this competition.Card preparation is KING. With a restriction on the maximum CPU speed that can be utilised, the graphics card becomes the key component. This also opens the competition up to be more competitive.
Skills like card insulation, voltage manipulation and temperature management come into their own. Below I've added some pictures of both my MSI 5870 and ASUS Rampage Extreme II being prepared, as well as a couple of pictures from other competitors." -

"A while ago I saw a case called Define R2 from a Swedish manufacturer, Fractal Design. I thought the specs were great and the price was very reasonable, if it was able to deliver what it promised. Now we will find out!"

"When we started NVIDIA, there were three of us- Chris, Curtis and myself. Chris and I had families and Curtis was single so we'd always go to his house and that would be the NVIDIA HQ. Chris and Curtis were upstairs in their own rooms with their own workstations working on NV1 while I had the downstairs dinging room table and used to sit there and figure out our strategy, our vision. It was pretty quiet- mostly just thinking and reading and reaching out to Venture Capitalists trying to figure out how to get the company off the ground."
Pretty cool stuff really.

"By the specifications of the NF750-G55 it's easy to conclude that MSI has worked hard to produce something a little extra with this board. The board offers support for SLI, Hybrid SLI and has some interesting proprietary technologies of MSI, like the "Easy OC Switch". In this review I will not test the SLI functionality since it's been done before, instead I will focus on the integrated GeForce 8200 chip and see what it can produce in terms of performance..."

As for this board it looks to be freakin awesome with military grade components. I guess we shoud give it a read and see if that really amounts to anything.
How does military grade components, ceramic coated heatsinks and a enough features to make a glamour model jealous sound? Interesting? Read on...
I think it needs long teeth on it somewhere.

"The only thing worth talking about is the mission "No Russian", which you are heavily warned by the game itself. I do think it was put in for pure shock value. Aside from possible anti-terrorism criticisms on the US, it just seems too easy to sit back and let the event unfold. I actually haven't been too fond on these "extreme" first person events from this series lately, it's becoming a lame gimmick."

AMD ATI Chips Comparison Table @ Hardware Secrets
