Retesting the Radeon HD 4830 @ Anandtech
Published: Monday, October 27, 2008 | By: WillAMD should have known better than to do so great with the new Radeon HD 4800 series, and then let some bad cards through. AMD cannot let sloppy work like this happen, or it is going to hurt them big time. Hope people read some of the updated reviews with the fixed BIOS to give the 4830 a chance.
"But this is still sort of a big deal. Not because it impacts the hardware people will buy, but because it invalidates the evaluations of many of the reviews that went live on launch day. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and the diminished performance from these errant review samples could leave a false impression on those who are most likely to keep up, read, and recommend graphics hardware."

Yeppers, Far Freakin Cry 2 is out and ready to blow the gamers mind once again. Africa is in trouble when I go to play. The guys over at the Big H have decided to give us a fun performance preview from our video card stand point.
"The much anticipated FarCry 2 is being released today! We have some apples-to-apples performance testing that gives a preview of how current-gen video cards from NVIDIA and AMD stack up. Today's video cards are capable of huge resolutions with dialed up quality settings."
