Foxconn NF4SLI7AA-8EKRS2 (nForce 4 SLI Intel) @ Viperlair

"Packaging for this board was pretty stylish, the box has a semi transparent plastic sleeve with a window cut out that displays a chrome Foxconn badge, once you remove the sleeve the back of the box provides more info about the board."

Gainward 7800 GT Golden Sample @ PureOverclock

"As the Gainward 7800 GT Golden Sample is factory overclocked to 450/1050 I wasn’t expecting it to go much further. I managed a stable 473/1200 which brought the shader and ROP clocks up to 486 MHz. This gave it a speed boost that the Inno3D 7800 GT could not hope to match with its shader and ROP clocks stuck at 459 MHz."
The thing I want to know is if the company that bought Gainward will ever bring the red PCBs back. -
XFX Revo64 Serial ATA RAID card @ Tech Report

"The market may be brimming with multi-drive goodness, but that doesn't mean that there isn't room for something new. You see, most affordable RAID solutions, be they add-in cards or motherboard implementations, are software-based solutions and lack dedicated onboard memory. Most stick to supporting a mix of RAID levels 0, 1, 10/0+1, and 5, as well. We haven't seen much in the way of RAID 3 or hardware acceleration, and that's where XFX's new Revo64 comes in."
Maybe XFX will be nice and send us one for review as well? -

Albatron and XFX debut new SLI-ready GeForce 6800 GS Cards

The card features a memory configuration using 256MB of DDR3 memory with a 256-bit memory bus. Albatron says that the card is now available for sale worldwide but declined to give a price range.
XFX introduced its XFX GeForce 6800 GS eXTreme and XXX series today. The eXTreme line has a core clock speed of 450MHz, whereas the high-end XXX series runs at 485MHz, according to the company." -
Mobo makers review launch of AMD Socket-M2 processors
Published: Tuesday, November 8, 2005 | By: Dennis"Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) plans to launch a series of 940-pin Socket M2 CPUs – a dual-core processor codenamed Windsor and the single-core Orleans and Manila processors – in the second quarter of 2006, according to unspecified motherboard makers that have reviewed the chip vendor’s latest roadmap. As a result, AMD’s Socket-939 processors are expected to be phased out one year after the release of the Socket-M2 CPUs, indicated the makers."

256MB PCIe 6600GT finally reappears

And two 256MB 6600GTs cost about 30% less at the time. The solution was simple: kill the 256MB version and only sell a 128MB version. That way the cards were hobbled and couldn't interfere with sales of the top end Ultra."

Abit NI8 SLI @ InsaneTek

Though prolly not from Abit.
"The NI8 comes in Abit's signature orange PCB. It is not one of the enthusiast favorites, but it is still better than the traditional green or sand color. At least that's what I think. The DIMM slots are located in the usual position at the right side of the motherboard. The slots are color coded lime green and orange to distinguish dual channel capability."
Since Soltek has folded Ninjalane will need to up and find another favorite, Suggestions.... Send them in.
