SCO issues bounty for MyDoom creator

"SCO has incurred the wrath of the Linux community for its claims that important pieces of the open-source operating system are covered by SCO's Unix copyrights. IBM, Novell and other Linux backers strongly dispute the claims."
Everyone is being a bunch of third graders in this whole thing. SCO, being the evil principal, has put the word out that whoever put the gum in little Suzie's hair is going down. Meanwhile, the kids in the playground are just laughing.
I suppose you can change the timeframe to college or high school but 3rd grade just seemed fitting. -

New virus infects PCs, whacks SCO

Maybe on Feb 1 we should all just point our browsers and link checkers to the SCO website and let them go to town. -

Looking for a Cascade Water Block
Published: Monday, January 26, 2004 | By: DennisI don't normally post requests in the Ninjalane Daily news but I am currently in search of a very rare waterblock called the Cascade. According to the Little River website production of the block has been suspended due to a hiatus, so getting one direct from AU is going to be a problem.
I am curious to know if anyone out there happens to have one of these blocks and would be willing to part with it. I am currently looking for a Pentium 4 version, but can buy a new top if need be.

I agree Crucial does make a mean stick of ram though due to the very relaxed timings and limited speed selections I wouldn’t suggest Crucial for any high-end system that you intend to overclock. -

Installing Slackware Linux @ Bitbender
Published: Monday, January 26, 2004 | By: DennisSlackware is the only distro of Linux that I use and though I haven't converted my desktop to Linux my main multipurpose server happens to be built on Slackware.
"What's this about "friendly"? You heard that Slackware was too damned hard, didn't you? If you are expecting cute graphical wizards and penguins automating every configuration step for you, that may be true. However, in essense, Slackware is one of the simplest distributions there is if you are proficient with a Linux system. If you aren't, a little perseverance with Slackware and you will be."
The best advice I can give it be patient, read the docs, and be patient, the install goes pretty quick but configuration of the system can be a little exhaustive if you are new to Linux. -

I would agree the "X" is cool. Would have been cooler if Ninjalane actually got one of these cases for review, but alas the site just can't shake the "send them heatsinks, they won't mind" thing.
