Inside Look at BFG Technologies @ Envy News
Published: Monday, January 5, 2004 | By: DennisWatch out group photo!!

"The computer hardware industry today is as cutthroat as ever. New companies especially face an uphill battle if they want to enter the marketplace. BFG was fully aware of this when they came into being last year. By offering a wide range of products that are accessible to people with any budget, this upstart already has made a name for itself. And they don't look like they'll go away any time soon." -

Evil Inside - Double Your Pleasure @ Modfathers??
Published: Monday, January 5, 2004 | By: DennisThey are talking about dual processing. Dually options have been pretty sparse ever since Intel removed the option from current Pentium 4 processors but we still wait for the return of SMP.
"The initial assumption that I see people make right off the bat once I even bring up the topic of a dual processor computer is that since it has two processors it should then be twice as fast, right? I mean after all isn't 2000 Mhz x 2 = 4000 MHz? Wrong."

Transcend DDR500 Review @ Legit Reviews
Published: Monday, January 5, 2004 | By: Dennis"The modules are rated at DDR500 (500MHz) with timings of 3-4-4-8, 1T, but only require 2.6 Volts for operation. This is lower than any DDR500 modules that we have seen! It will be interesting to see if these modules run cooler and see how the headroom is with higher voltages."
Same timings found on the Corsair TwinX XMS4000 modules that we reviewed. -

The guts of a Gamecube @ enscape
Published: Friday, January 2, 2004 | By: Dennis"So now you have the front flipped down and you can see the LED looking at you. I know you want to replace it, go ahead. Nintendo won't hate you for it - no! In fact they will just cancel your warranty."
I never believed how small the Gamecube was until I finally saw one in person; the thing is super tiny being only slightly larger than a full sized CD.
