Gigabyte 7VRXP KT333 Review @ OCworkbench

The new board features not only DDR333 but also includes the new Via ATA133 Southbridge and a Promise ATA133 RAID controller. Then just to keep with the theme an Athlon 1500+ (1.33GHz) processor was used during testing.

Chipset Problems Slowing DDR333 Launch?

Olympics and 802.11
Published: Monday, February 11, 2002 | By: DennisThe International Olympic Committee decided to play it safe and will not be using 802.11 devices for their operations control. This does not surprise me in the least, 802.11 devices transmit data without wires similar to a cellular phone with a very weak encryption system. So until a reliable and easy to use means of encryption is enabled for 802.11 it will remain unsafe for high security purposes.
