  • Banner Ads no good?

Published: Friday, January 5, 2001 | By: Dennis

It seems that the trouble with the online world has affected the UGO Network and they have resorted to cut back on banner payments. This is also affecting many of the larger hardware and gaming sites out there. Considering how many page views you need to have before even being considered for an UGO banner, and how much work must go into running a site of this size. I can see how many of these sites will be no more in the coming months.

As you can see I am banner free. Maybe that will change in the coming months.

Sorry for the lack of news lately but I have been working hard on an upgrade to the Ninjalane Message Forums. The new forum is almost completed, I just have a few more modifications to make and it should be ready to go live.

Some of the upgrades will include, forum titles based on total posts, email notification with each reply to your message, the ability to message people via ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, and much more. I will make a formal announcement when the new forums are online.

  • Micron DDR Memory Pricing

You can be sure this price will change in the coming months. Though it would also appear that DDR memory doesn't cost much more to produce than regular SDRAM. Makes the switch a pretty easy one.

Hypothermia has posted an article on water cooling his Hercules GeForce2.

He has great attention to detail, right down to the blue anodized goodies that cover the GPU and RAM and from an aesthetic standpoint, this is the best water-cooling mod I have ever seen.

  • SUMA Platinum GeForce2 Pro

Published: Wednesday, December 27, 2000 | By: Dennis

SUMA, a small company, which I?ve never heard of, is releasing a Black GeForce2 Pro video card. I found a review of this card in prototype form at Tom's Hardware.

Here are just some of the cool features that are included with this card.
5ns DDR memory, 200Mhz/400Mhz clock speed and AGP Pro! They also have a pretty sweet looking TwinView MX card too.
