After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Internals - Drive Bays

    Drive Bays
One of the neatest things about this and other Antec cases (minus the 1030) is the removable double-stacked external 3.5 drive adaptor. When removed you have an extra internal 5.25 drive bay, which for the most part is un-usable since Antec didn't supply the 4th set of drive rails.

Speaking of drive rails you can see the drive rail storage rack in the lower section of the case.
    Hard Drive
The SX635 comes with 3 internal 3.5 bays in an easily removable drive cage. The cage also allows provisions for an optional 80mm fan. This is a great addition since under drive coolers will have little if no use in this sort of drive configuration. The only improvement would be to breakout the dremel or 80mm hole saw and increase the airflow to the drive bay. Personally I think Antec should have ditched drilling holes in the cage area and put in a mesh similar to the case fan vent below.
