Benchmarks - Overclocked
Overclocking
As with all of our reviews we pit the default speed system against the overclocked one in a head to head byte match. The results of this are below. The effective overclock here is 3.6Ghz but has been reduced to 3.4Ghz due to the C1E setting. Sadly on this system the feature could not be disabled and overclocked at the same time.

Overclocking Conclusion
Since there are no multiplier adjustments on the Intel platform the overclock is the result of pure FSB, Given that our Tracer Modules are DDR667 to reach the 245Mhz FSB the divider was adjusted to 533Mhz speeds for a ending memory clock of about 650Mhz or almost default speed. This is not the highest speed we could muster from our 830 dual core processor but it is the highest clock we could attain for any length of time due to a cooling issue related to our OEM heatsink.
Our Riddick scores are continually going up with a whopping 5 to 16FPS gain across the board. If I didn't know any better I'd say this is the beginnings of a GPU limitation.
