Appearance and function
Thermaltake has put a new spin on PSU cosmetics by including not just a lighted fan but a multi colored, user controllable one. The fan includes 5 selectable options ranging from red, blue or green as well as cycling patterns. The options can be selected by a button on the back near the power cord.
The fan is also comes with an intelligent speed control to help keep noise levels down, however even at full speed the 140mm fan is extremely quiet.

With a modular power supplies the cord attachment area is often hard to navigate, but Thermaltake has made the process a bit easier by color coding the ports as well as grouping them based on purpose. The cables even come with labels to avoid confusion. By utilizing only the needed power cords you can dramatically eliminate the cable routing headaches associated with a custom build.
The PSU rating info is placed on the back of the PSU under the power sockets. The info clearly describes the fact this is a single rail PSU, which offers great flexibility on how the lines are loaded.
The 12v rail is capable of 48 amps @ 576 watts, lots of power for a midrange gaming rig. The PSU appears to be based on the Channel Well Technologies PSH650 model which has 80PLUS bronze certification.
The Evo Blue has not been 80PLUS certified but is rumored to run solid around 75% without issue.
