Performance - PCMark Vantage

We've found the Disk suite in Futuremark's PCMark Vantage offers a nice mix of Windows related "real world tests" that can apply to all system drives. The results from the OCZ Vertex 2 drive shocked us to say the least, but it wasn't a random bug as the scores were repeatable, and far and away the fastest we have ever seen.
Benchmark Conclusion
Our final tests show about what we expected from the speeds we have seen so far. The OCZ Vertex 2 SSD does extremely well in both read and write speeds and of course the access times are all under .1ms. The only real surprise was the Raid 0 array doing so well in the Crystal Diskmark bench. As we have seen during testing there are some benches that really favor Raid arrays and some where it hurts. This is the main reason why reviewers run so many tests. Getting a good set of numbers from a broad range of performance tests gives a good feel for where the real world performance lies in comparison to other drive arrangements.
