After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Contests and Shows

Thermaltake and MSI both had LAN gaming competitions.  Thermaltake has a gaming center setup each year to help promote their gaming products.  MSI was hosting a gaming challenge, from what we could gather if you could frag the pro 3 times you win.  Today they were playing Quake 3, guess I should have tried my hand.
My friends at MicSys hosted an overclocking show as well, the first 2 days were LN2 but on the 3rd and 4th day they switched up to DICE (Dry Ice).  Their goal was to overclock the MicSys Avantium memory modules.
The final overclocking show we noticed was over at the Antec booth.  Normally we would have just kept walking however the draw of the SR-2 called us over, if anything to take a look around.
A couple things to notice here.

1)The special SR-2 edition benching tables
    2) the lonely SR-2 sitting by itself inside the Antec booth.

Had the board not been covered in Vaseline and prepped for LN2 I suspect it and its owners would have been soon parted. happy smile
