After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Computex Another Day

Some people say that it's not the heat, but the humidity. By that they are usually referring to how hot people feel, given a certain weather condition. For a guy that lives in a high desert region of the US, I am accustomed to very dry and sometimes hot. Well, Taipei is a tropical land, very warm and quite humid. Needless to say, I am one sweaty foreigner.
    DFI CMOS Reloaded Press Confer
I got an early start at Computex to pick up where I left off on Day 1.

The highlight of my day was the DFI CMOS Reloaded press conference. DFI had all of their new CMOS Reloaded motherboads on display; a few of the new ones are shown below. The Infinity and LanParty NF2 boards will feature a new design this time around that should prove to be quite useful to the AMD gamer.
After the press conference I was able to speak with quite a few people from DFI, including the father of the LanParty series, and I even got a few lessons in motherboard design from the creator of the CMOS Reloaded technology.
