The Death of Free: Will Free Online Content Like Hulu Ever Dry Up? @ Digital Trends
Published: Wednesday, December 2, 2009 | By: WillWith being a user of watching some TV I missed during the week on the internet. This subject is a very interesting one for me. It's a good read with some great scare tactics well placed inside as well.
"Did your father ever tell you there's no such thing as a free lunch? Well, most of today's industry experts would probably agree with him. The idea of "free" has become extremely controversial in the technology industry, especially in the case of online content. Rumors that favorite show streaming website Hulu will be charging for all of their content has most online-media-viewing junkies scared stiff. Sources for Hulu, after reaping the backlash of complaints, deny the rumors and say turning the service into a pay-only site is just not in the cards. Fair enough, but what happens when Hulu and other sites get desperate? Ad sales are down, magazines and newspapers aren't selling, and people are only accessing "free" web content. Will these poor economic conditions and lack of advertising force more web publishers into a pay-only frenzy?"

In the time I've been reviewing power supplies here at jonnyGURU.com, I've tested big power supplies, little power supplies, and just about every power supply in between. Until today, I've never gone looking to completely max out my testing equipment. But that's about to change. StarCraft 2 Preview (PC) @ Gamingheaven
StarCraft was not only an amazing seller for Blizzard but it is still played in certain parts of the world and has turned into what you could safely classify as a "timeless strategy game". There is still no confirmed release date for Starcraft 2: Wings Of Liberty on the PC but we did manage to get some hands on time at the show floor of G-Star 2009, a gaming convention at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea.
Serious Sam HD (PC) Review @ Gamingheaven
If you are as old as me you will fondly remember many nights spent mindlessly shooting a bizarre array of aliens in Serious Sam. This game was so much fun that it was really hard to put it down, even when you beat it, several times. Croteam have recently released the ‘HD' version of the game using the updated Serious 3 engine but is it really worth revisiting?

"A while ago I saw a case called Define R2 from a Swedish manufacturer, Fractal Design. I thought the specs were great and the price was very reasonable, if it was able to deliver what it promised. Now we will find out!"

"When we started NVIDIA, there were three of us- Chris, Curtis and myself. Chris and I had families and Curtis was single so we'd always go to his house and that would be the NVIDIA HQ. Chris and Curtis were upstairs in their own rooms with their own workstations working on NV1 while I had the downstairs dinging room table and used to sit there and figure out our strategy, our vision. It was pretty quiet- mostly just thinking and reading and reaching out to Venture Capitalists trying to figure out how to get the company off the ground."
Pretty cool stuff really.

"By the specifications of the NF750-G55 it's easy to conclude that MSI has worked hard to produce something a little extra with this board. The board offers support for SLI, Hybrid SLI and has some interesting proprietary technologies of MSI, like the "Easy OC Switch". In this review I will not test the SLI functionality since it's been done before, instead I will focus on the integrated GeForce 8200 chip and see what it can produce in terms of performance..."
