Recycle Your Broken Computer Parts and Towers @ Legit Reviews
Published: Thursday, May 7, 2009 | By: WillHere is something for the computer people that want to be a little more friendly to the environment. I am feeling a little Greener already after reading this.
"Looking for a better solution here in St. Louis Missouri I ran across a site called e-cycle St. Louis that lists local recycling centers. The site listed 11 recycling centers in the St. Louis area that are said to accept most items at no charge. A couple of items, such as computer monitors and TVs, may include a $5 fee. This fee is said to be necessary to help cover the safe and appropriate method of breaking down these items for recycling. One of the recycling centers was fairly close to where I live, so recycling is not much more work than throwing something away..."
Come everybody is doing it! Recycling will make you cool.

GSkill Trident 2000Mhz @ Bjorn3D
Published: Wednesday, May 6, 2009 | By: WillGSkill Trident look just down right awesome. I wonder if they perform as well as they look? Let's check out this review and see. Also here is a reminder to check out our article on dual channel vs. triple channel on the i7.
"When DDR3 memory was first introduced a couple of years ago, to overclock this type of memory was fairly simple. Just increase the voltage loosen up the timings and start increasing the FSB. Now since the Core i7 CPU's were introduced back in november, we can no longer start adding an insane amount of volts to our memory to overclock them. Having a limitation on the amount of memory voltages we can apply, a voltage limitation of 1.65 volts. Well, unless you want to take a chance on bricking a perfectly good CPU. Having this limitation of voltage to the memory has left the memory world up in arms, how do they come up with memory that performs well with good timing's all the while not go above the 1.65 voltage limiation."
They do look real cool.

NL: Gaming Review Roundups
Published: Wednesday, May 6, 2009 | By: WillWe are going for the casual PC gamer here for a little bit today. Also another game to help waste away some time. Looks like TestFreaks are going for some Double-Shot Power today on the game review front.

Chains PC Game Review @ TestFreaks
" Ivan Trayko's Chains is a title that takes the match-three puzzle genre and puts an entirely new spin on the concept. By far the most entertaining game I've reviewed to date for Test Freaks, I had difficulty closing the program so I could write this review. The design is simple, it's straightforward, and it's utterly clever; ingredients that develop it into a stellar title that gives you a fantastic experience playing a tried-and-true puzzle platform in an all new and fresh setting. Addictive. Fun. Awesome"
Incognito: Episode One PC Game Review @ TestFreaks
"Incognito: Episode One is the first video game created by Canadian company Magrathean Technologies. Magrathean typically works with web and Second Life development, API construction and other fancy stuff. With Incognito, they sought to combine multiple gaming genres, incorporating elements of RPG, FPS, RTS, vehicle simulation and space simulation; creating an "ultimate" game for all types of players. You're right - that's a very ambitious task to execute properly, especially for a first-time game under the helm of a tiny three-person development team. "

Microsoft may soon drop VISTA
Published: Monday, May 4, 2009 | By: DennisI'm going to say this is the media trying to throw out rumors in hopes they will become true. While it makes no sense to keep an aging OS around once the upgrade is available that is rarely the case with MS since most of their money comes from OEM sales.
It will be a good "wait and see" so pull out the popcorn!
REDMOND, Wash., May 4 (UPI) -- U.S. software giant Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) may stop selling its Windows Vista operating system as soon as an upgraded version is available, a company manager said.
The company is "still not sure if (computer manufacturers) will be able to ship Vista once Windows 7 is made available," General Manager Richard Francis wrote in a recent e-mail, IDG News reported Monday. -
