Icebox 5.25 UV Blue Dual Bay Reservoir Review @ Virtual-Hideout
Published: Thursday, January 3, 2008 | By: DennisHaving installed a few watercooling systems I can honestly say the biggest challenge is finding a place for the reservoir and more often than not the empty drive bays are prime locations.
Water cooling is still the most cost effective, long lasting method for keeping processors, graphics cards, and chipsets cooler than conventional air cooling and is the most silent option around. Unless your processor uses very, very little power under load, then passive heat sinks just aren't feasible. This is especially true for multi-core processors. Quad core processors specifically need a bit more liquid cooling. So, that single 120mm radiator and extra small reservoir just aren't going to cut it.
While we do not fully agree with this quote when it comes to performance watercooling you defiantly cannot skimp.

Intel X48 chipset preview - ASUS Style @ EliteBastards
Published: Thursday, January 3, 2008 | By: DennisThe FSB keeps ramping up, it would seem that Intel has taken a major play from the nVidia playbook with a new 6-month release cycle.
So, what do we have by way of improvements in X48 over its forebear? The simple answer is - Nothing major. Most of the under the hood changes to the X48 chipset concern tweaking the design and components with a mind to adding official support for Intel's latest, 1600MHz FSB CPUs.
This also appears to be a DDR3 only chipset which would mark the first major reason to upgrade to the expensive and scarse DDR3 platform.

Frozen Iguanas Fall From Florida Trees
Published: Thursday, January 3, 2008 | By: DennisThis I would have liked to see
"We have found dozens on the bike path after a major cold snap," said park manager Robert Yero. "When they warm up in the sun, they come back to life."
Makes you wonder how many Iguanas became pets or dead after the "freak" weather in Floridia.

XFX 8800GTS 512 MB Alpha Dog Review @ Gamepyre
Published: Thursday, January 3, 2008 | By: DennisHere is one crazy video card, its still only a GTS but with a half gig of video ram.

It seems that NVIDIA is bent on just taking over the entire VGA arena in both the high and low end market at the same time. This can be clearly seen with their recent release strategy, and ATI is an unloaded gun when it comes to sheer product awareness across the spectrum. XFX will most likely have a few different variations of this card available from standard clocked models and a few overclocked types as well. This card beats almost the rest of the NVIDIA lineup other than the Ultra and is a very solid gaming solution. Pricing however is much higher than the 256MB GT, which is around the $200.00 mark as this card sells for about $350.00 give or take a few bucks in either direction.
We are never big on quoting prices here at Ninjalane, Instead we figure if you want it you'll do what you can to get it with cost becoming secondary. Of course we all know how frugal y'all is which is why sites like Pricewatch and Pricegrabber exist.
Bjorn3D also reviewed this card.

Published: Wednesday, January 2, 2008 | By: DennisWith Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) having recently landed orders to produce own-brand motherboards for Intel, while it is also competing with Pegatron Technology, the spun-off ODM subsidiary of Asustek Computer, over Hewlett-Packard's (HP's) desktop PC orders, it has shown that the maker is eager to achieve the number one spot in the motherboard manufacturing market, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
