Corsair TwinX2 DDR2 Revisited @ OCTools

"When we first reviewed the Corsair TWIN2X1024-5400C4PRO DDR2 back in August 2004, we were impressed by its stability, performance and the headroom it provided for overclockers and enthusiasts. However, we weren’t able to determine its maximum operating speed via overclocking due to hardware limitations we have at the time." -
Asus A8N-SLI Review @ PC INpact

"Pour ce qui est du refroidissement de la seule et unique puce regroupant à la fois le northbridge et le southbridge du nForce 4 SLI, Asus a choisi d’équiper sa carte mère d’un système actif. En utilisation "normale", un radiateur passif aurait toutefois très certainement suffit, d’autant plus que celui installé est assez bruyant, mais Asus a préféré jouer la carte de la sécurité et assurer un refroidissement conséquent à son jeu de circuits."
Yep I have no idea what that says.

Comparing SLI Setups @ t-break

"With SLI boards hitting retail shelves, we’re sure that quite a few people are interested in comparing SLI setups. We thought that it would be a good idea to compare the lower-end and higher-end SLI setups. Since SLI is only officially available on an nForce4 platform, we didn’t have much choice with a lower-end system- especially since all nF4 boards are socket 939."
But then again there are a few good graphs to choose from. -

"After going over the Corsair system with Joe James, I got to visit with Vivian Lien from DFI. First Vivian showed us DFI's two newest boards, the DFI LANPartyUT NF4 Ultra D and the DFI Lan Party NF4 SLI-DR, both in the socket 939 and both based on the NVidia nForce 4 chipset. Typical DFI looks with the black PCB and neon connectors as well as probably the finest package available on the market."

Koolance PC3-720 Watercooled Case Review @ Hardware Hell

"The case itself has a lot of features. It has a lot of thumbscrews instead of your standard screws. Everyone knows that thumbscrews are much easier to work with. It also has a motherboard cradle that holds the motherboard in place." -
Soltek SL-K8TPro-939 Review @ Neoseeker

Expansion will never be a problem with the SL-K8TPro-939, nor will CPU or RAM upgrades: four SATA ports, three IDE ports, two Firewire ports, eight USB ports, five PCI slots, and four DIMM slots are about as much as anyone can possibly need."
We reviewed the Soltek SL-K8TPro not to long ago and while I could agree that the SL-K8TPro is a good board it didn't provide us much in terms of overclocking performance. -

Morphing nForce4 Ultra into nForce4 SLI @ Anandtech

"If you look closely at the pictures of the SLI and Ultra, you will see that the chipset themselves appear identical. However, a closer look at the resistors and pads surrounding the chip shows some differences. The resistors appear the same on both, but there are 3 sets of resistor pads that are closed on the SLI chipset while just two sets are closed on Ultra."
They used a DFI nForce4 Ultra and modded the chipset to full SLI capability. There’s nothing like a motherboard mod to ring in the New Year. -
BTX Form Factor Exposed @ PCStats

When this radical form-factor change for motherboards and PC cases was first proposed by Intel in 2003, its introduction was supposed to coincide with the birth of the 'Alderwood' and 'Grantsdale' chipsets we now know as the Intel 915P and 925X."
I think having the BTX out along with the other changes would have just delayed everyone from moving to the new Intel platform.
