Published: Friday, December 7, 2001 | By: Dennis

A well-known hacker discovered a routing flaw in the WorldCom network that allowed access to their employee database. Of course the flaw was fixed shortly after it was brought to their attention but still begs the question of why nobody on the inside saw it first.

I won't be buying a GameCube any time soon but it's nice to know what is inside. The GameCube is based around a 485MHz RISC processor and ATI graphics, kind of sounds like a MAC to me. To find out more about the GameCube head on over to Anandtech.

  • nForce Performance Uncovered

Published: Thursday, December 6, 2001 | By: Dennis

The information contained in this GamePC article probably was not intended to be addressed until after the nForce release to market but all things considered I'm glad it is. It would appear that Nvidia included a "Superstability" mode into its dual channel DDR memory design thus providing system integrity with all types of DDR memory modules. In "Superstability" mode the memory clock is reduced to 200MHz, but only if you fill the third memory slot with a double-sided DDR memory module. Get the full story at GamePC.

  • Gainward GeForce2 Ti/500 Review @ Digit Life

I haven't posted many video card reviews lately so I here you go. This is somewhat of an older video chip being that the Ti/500 is actually a GeForce2 Ultra. Don't let that hold you back the GF2U is still plenty fast for any of today's games. Plus the PCB is a nice shinny red.
