After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Conclusion

The Element S from ThermalTake is a very clean and elegant case that pushes the limits of case design by refining what needs to be in a case to begin with.  The outer skin is a smooth form plastic that helps to reaffirm the smooth style and clean lines.  Drives are hidden behind a full height door that is easy to operate and doubles as a cooling vent for the dual 120mm fans behind.

Cooling is a big feature of the Element S but the fans are cleverly hidden from view.  Even the largest of these fans is hidden behind a molded vent and positioned above the motherboard.  The case also features a 140mm fan in the back of the case and supports placements of 2x 60mm fans to help cool your video cards.

The hard drive tray can be removed and repositioned so that the drives face sideways or forward depending on how you wish to run your cables.  There are even 2 spots for 2.5” SSD or Laptop HDDs since they have started to become the drives all the cool kids have.
