After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Conclusion

I have had the pleasure of handling many cases in my life and Lian Li are among my favorites, their build quality is excellent and the fit and finish is incredible. The majority of cases on the market are based on budget concerns above all else and the compromises show. Lian Li makes no compromises in offering their customers some of the most gorgeously crafted cases made today. Everywhere you look you see some little detail that has been crafted not just to function perfectly but to also look great. Even the door panels have ridges around the perimeter which shows off the 2mm thickness nicely. Despite the complexity and size the case is remarkably light and sturdy at the same time. The combination of a solid build along with the video card brace and removable drive bays help to tie the case together and make it very sturdy and rattle free.

Overall I am very impressed with the 2008 line-up and look forward to seeing more of the new models. Maybe even on these pages.

Now for the ever popular list of Good things and Bad things. happy smile
    Good Things
    Smooth classic looks, clean design.
No sharp edges very thoughtfull design touches.
Seperate compartments for PSU and the rest of the system.
Awesome airflow with 140mm intake and chipset fan included.
Large size at 20" Highx 22.5" deep and 8" wide. (not including wheels)
Lots of room for even E-ATX boards.
    Bad Things
    Pricey.
Fan controller could support four fans instead of three but lacks a header.
Window not included. for this price it should have a window option, not to buy as a seperate item.
No cabling holes to route the SATA cables etc behind motherboard. only in CPU area.
Top mount USB ports instead of front panel. some people would never put this nice of a case on the floor.
