After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Control Panel Software

What good is a USB enabled water pump if you can't do anything with it? Well the asetek Waterchill 12v pump comes with a control panel program that will monitor the devices connected to the pump control module, and then some.
For instance one of the odd features is a transparency slider that will make the control panel blend with whatever is behind it. (I had some anime set as my wallpaper that day. happy smile)
The Waterchill control panel will allow you to change many aspects of the pump and what is connected to it. Some of the significant features include an RPM fan slider for the 2 fans, temperature recording for the two thermal probes, and Pump RPM control, (yes you can actually control how fast the pump is turning, though only by a few 100 RPM.)

The control freaks will love it. wink smile
