After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Pump Control

Over the years asetek has been building some very complex control modules that integrate well with PC components. The chill control module found on VapoChill units comes to mind with the Waterchill pump relay being a close second.
For the WaterChill 12v pump asetek has created a cool little module that powers the pump, controls 2 fans, reads from 2 thermal probes, powers a status LED and even comes with a display panel output and USB interface. As you may have guessed the pump draws its power from the PC power supply so there is no longer a need to have a power relay or semi dangerous 110/220v power piped directly into your case.
