Athlon64 3500+ Overclocking Adventure @ PC Stats
Published: Tuesday, April 5, 2005 | By: DennisOverclocking the Athlon64 is actually quite a challenge when you think about it, not only do you need to keep memory and HT clocks in check but LDT speed is also a factor once it starts approaching 1000Mhz.
" With air cooling, the Athlon64 3500+ maxed out at 242 MHz (2.66 GHz). Anything higher and the processor was unstable at any chipset voltage. Temperatures were a bit high for my taste too; the DFI LANParty NF4 SLI-DR motherboard reported CPU temps as high as 55 degrees Celsius." -
Techsolo TC-90 Case Review @ OC-Service

"Computer cases' market right now is pretty well developed. Some manufacturers managed to establish a solid position and now continue to offer some great products. Other manufacturers offer elegant and often expensive cases - trying really hard to be seen. It's really hard to satisfy every single one, potential user due to different demands and expectations." -

Plusdeck Review @ PCMechanic
Published: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 | By: DennisThis thing is just plain crazy

"My first thought when I was offered to review Plusdeck was this: Would there be any demand for such a drive? I mean, hardly anybody uses cassette tapes anymore, and would anybody be interested in paying money for a cassette deck for their computer." -
AMD Dual Core Processor Information
Published: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 | By: DennisThe proc isn't really out yet but here are the current specs.
90nm
– Approximately same die size as 130nm single-core AMD Opteron processor*
– ~205 million transistors*
95 watt power envelope
– Fits into 90nm power infrastructure
940 Socket compatible
The last line has me wondering if this is going to be a 940 only processor or if there will be desktop/workstation models later on.
