After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    92mm Fan Enhancement

    92mm Fan Enhancement
As I stated earlier this case will have 2x 92mm fans installed. The first is located on the back replacing the 80mm that comes standard with the case. Unfortunately the given fan grill is the wrong size to accurately fit a 92mm fan so some custom work will need to be done. First things first, we mark the areas to be removed by using this laser cut grill as a template.
Using our trusty Dremel tool the cut is made and the laser-cut grill is pressure fit into the opening and made flush with the outside edge. The area is then covered with waxed paper, I will explain the significance of the waxed paper later.
    92mm Blowhole
The other 92mm fan will act as a blowhole in the top of this case, this photo shows the finished cut before it was covered with waxed paper.
