After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Conclusion

The SilverStone ST60EF PSU is a wonderful Power Supply to work with and aside from the cables not being sleeved all the way down I really didn’t have anything to complain about.

In today's world 600Watts may not sound like much but it is really more than enough power for the average user and there are several aspects of the SilverStone ST60EF that help to reinforce this.  First is the unit being super efficient from 20% to 80% loading and the second being 2 power rails that split will handle 32A each or 48A when combined.  To top it all off the SilverStone ST60EF was awarded a Bronze Award on efficiency from the 80 Plus Program so you know the numbers are real.

Last but not least is the sound of the SilverStone ST60EF PSU, throughout out the usage and testing phase 120mm fan never got loud enough to be heard over the normal fans found in the system.  These means you won’t be adding any additional noise to your system and in some cases may even reduce it.
