Gigabyte Radeon HD5750 Silent Cell Video Card Review

Conclusion

Completely silent hardware comes in handy in several situations.  The one we commonly associate with is the famed HTPC and low powered OEM style systems.  As it would turn out excess noise in either of these situations is often regarded as a bad thing.

The Gigabyte Radeon HD 5750 Silent Cell happens to be a perfect solution for not only a low noise system but also can work well in a midrange gaming system where maximum framrates are not a primary concern.  The main draw to the HD 5750 Silent Cell is the complexly passive cooler but don't overlook some of the built in features such as full Direct X 11, Eyefinity, Crossfire, and a multitude of multimedia features to help you decode and playback HD movies in real time.

Overclocking potential of the HD 5750 is favorable, and even with minor tweaks you'll easily match the speed of Radeon HD 5770.  Combine that with the peace of mind that the longevity of the card will always be there since there are no moving parts to wear out.
Good Things
Passive cooled for no sound
Some overclocking potential
high resolution gamings on a budget
Ultra Durable agenda from Gigabyte
Bad Things
Adding a fan did not result in higher overclock
Tough price range with the Radeon HD 5770
