After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Case Layout and Features

The inside of the Silverstone Temjin TJ04 is not unlike other cases that we have seen. The power supply is still located at the top and directly opposite of the 5.25" drive bays. 3.5" bays are located in the middle under the 5.25" bays and a removable HDD rack takes up the empty space at the bottom directly behind the primary intake fan.
The bay covers are a little different on this case, instead of having knock out plates a series of brushed aluminum covers have been installed. Most of the covers are held in place by a single screw with the exception of the external 3.5 bays, these covers have two. The material is very thin and not very ductile so care is required if you plan to reused these in the future. quick note: two screws hold the external drive rack in place, remove these and press the lever to remove the rack and gain access to the second cover plate screw.
