After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    GSkill

GSkill was the first stop, we haven't really done any work with GSkill directly so everything on display was actually new.  System memory continues to be a strong GSkill product.  In addition to their normal line up they have added a new sub-brand called Flare.  The heatspreaders are the traditional black but feature a red anodized heatsink in the middle.
Timings and speed vary between the product lines but seem to also be very competitive regardless. Here we see modules of similar speed and timing, but if you look carefully you can tell which one is actually better.
Every memory mfg had SSD's on display, some good and some bad.  The one shown here might be one of the fastest of the show.
