AOpen HP-590 Headphone Review

Introduction

When Redmax and I attended Comdex this last fall, we were both surprised at the range of products that AOpen produces, video cards, cases, power supplies, sound cards, etc... Basically everything needed for a PC, inside or out. One of the most notable features in the AOpen booth was the wide range of motherboards. I say notable because the ones that really caught my eye had a big tube sticking out of it (example: AX4B-533 Tube). When we queried the representatives, they mentioned that the tubes created a more warm and friendly sound. The tubes could also be interchanged or replaced depending on what what kind of sound charistics you are looking for! This and other factors around the design really suggested that these guys are audiophiles and passionate about sound.

Here at the Ninjalane Labs we were fortunate enough to get a great new product from AOpen, the HP-590 vibrating headphones. Now before you go off thinking strange or immoral thoughs I'd like to say I've had these things strapped to my head for a week and I won't give them up for nothing, they are that good.
