After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    Onboard Graphics
We don’t normally see enthusiast ready motherboards with onboard graphics; in fact this is only the 3rd motherboard we have reviewed with a build in graphics processor.  On the ATX connector we have both HDMI and DVI video ports and only one is active at any given time.  In fact you’ll be required to move a jumper block when you want to switch between them.
The AMD (ATI) SB750 Southbridge is supplying the majority of the independent connections including the available USB ports, 6 SATA connections, and Raid 0, 1, 0+1.  A single IDE and floppy connection is also available.
True to DFI we have the EZ Touch switches and BIOS Debug display.  The photo also shows how compact the connections are in the Southbridge region of the LanParty Jr 790GX.
Speaking of compact, its still amazing that you can pack so much stuff on a small motherboard and still be a contender for a performance award.  Quad core processors, Hybrid CrossFire and full CrossFireX, Onboard RAID, Onboard Video, and Digital audio all complement this package.
