NVidia GeForce GTS 450 SLI Performance Review

Many people associate SLI as an easy way to get double the performance.  While this seems logical, the reality of the situation is dependent on a number of factors including total system performance, video cards, and the games you play.  More often than not the total performance is about half of double but tends to improve when using the lower end video cards.  The GTS 450 is one of those cards that can clearly provide double the performance in SLI and in some cases rivaling the more powerful GTX 470.

Of course this performance comes at a price, and tradeoffs, depending on your current system configuration.  Provided you have a system that can support two cards in SLI running 2x GTS 450's might be a great alternative to the more expensive GTX 470 given your ability to upgrade into a dual card situation.
